Submissions must be in PDF format and should be at most 8 pages. All submissions must follow the IEEE Conference proceedings format (IEEEtran, double-column, 10pt) at https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html
At submission time, authors choose the PIPSQUEAK Special Session. The review process is double-blind, and all papers need to be “best-effort” anonymized. We strongly encourage making code and data available anonymously (e.g., in an anonymous GitHub repository via Anonymous GitHub or in a Dropbox folder).
Submissions will be evaluated by at least two reviewers based on relevance, technical quality, potential impact, and clarity. All accepted papers will be included in the same proceedings volume published by Conference Publishing Services (https://ieeecps.org). At least one author of an accepted paper must register for the conference and present their paper in person at the special session during the conference in Turin.
Submissions should be made through the CMT system using the following link.
Accepted papers will be included in the main conference proceedings and published by IEEE Computer Society's Conference Publishing Services (CPS). Selected papers may be invited for extended versions to be considered for publication in a special issue of a relevant journal.
All authors conducting research involving human participants and subjects must meet appropriate ethical and legal standards (e.g., GDPR) guiding such research. In particular, authors must ensure that their human research planning, conduct, and reporting are consistent with their local governing laws and regulations. Please note that something may not be ethical even though it is not prohibited by local law or regulation. Thus, authors should also ensure the alignment of their research practices with ethical standards of educational research.
